I floated from bed
on late winter's dream
and in full moon light
to chilled window tread
and there saw an angel
on yon blanketed knoll
with footprints leading
asunder, and a fore
this marked place
of creature's birth
by wandering child
whose guardian had stood
on cooling heels
allowing a winter fun time moment,
left an impression
in full moon light painted
and sparkling diamond dust surrounded
a place where an angel had played
with gleeful wings spreading
in grand illusions of flight
on Old Man Winter's white
now heart smiling memories
in a late winter's dream
of being Jack Frosty
the Snow Angel Maker.
