Can we organize a (not) SECRET Santa for Fred?

Came across a post from Fred in Jax Fl that says he is having to give up his pet because he is out of work and will lose his housing at the end of Dec.  He has plenty of postings that we could comment on to give him a boost this month. It could give him some breathing room with a bit of income from his Gather friends.

That is really nice of you to help out a fellow Gather member. I did drop by a few of his articles and read some more today. I hate that anyone is hurting that bad. It is happening to people who don't deserve it.
