Advice needed

Hi all, after we had that Bathtub problem yesterday and paid 300$ for getting it fixed, we are broke.... To save Christmas we decided to sell a Fender guitar my husband owns.
but the guitar has all kinds of stickers on there, now how do we get those off without scratching the good piece?
we have tried with a little water, but it does not work. the stickers been on there for about 10 years....
thanks bunches for any tips

Goo Gone, possibly even a bit of vegetable oil. Apply either with a soft cloth.

I have heard peanut butter or toothpaste works, but it is a mild abrasive, and I am not sure if it would be safe or not.

I have used creamy peanut butter for things like this in the past. Natural peanut butter works best because it usually has more of the natural peanut oil.

You can also try WD 40. That also works well.

GOO GONE!!!! I'm an artist and I can 100% recommend this to any and everyone needed to get sticky stuff off! Granted, your guitar might smell a bit like citrus after using it but it gets it off!

goo gone -works but is very smelly :)
I would call a music store as you don't want whatever you use to damage the guitar or stain it in any way.

we got it off!!!!!! without getting it scratched !!! WD40 did the job, and a little veggie oil!!!! thanks guys
