How should the U.S. deal with these pirates?
"The pirates are living between life and death," said the pirate leader, identified by only one name, Boyah. "Who can stop them? Americans and British all put together cannot do anything."
Sounds like they are very sure of themselves.
This makes our dependence on foreign oil very troublesome.
How should Obama deal with these pirates?

I think it's also important to point out, while we do heavily import petroleum products into the US, Canada and Mexico combined equal almost double what we import from the Persian Gulf OPEC nations. Though this trend could reverse itself once again, including our own expanding deep water Gulf of Mexico production, as the price of crude has fallen substantially below the cost to produce a barrel of oil from the Gulf and Canada.
Ron B.,
I remember the way they used to treat pirates.
Hang em high from the yard arm!
as far as the pirates, I've not a clue how to deal with them......there are always gonna be bad guys......and good guys going into to kill them.......interesting posting dear friend fred ~j
As for the thieves protect what is yours by any means. You blow a few of them out of the water and they will think twice.
Truth is: it's a VAST expanse of sea, and finding the pirates is not an easy matter. That area has been notorious for piracy for hundreds of years.
