His Shining Light

- a poem dedicated to Lisa Frost -

 

In Him we have a shining light
Shining through our darkest night
The angels respond to His ancient call
To watch over us lest we fall

Our friends too, pay Him heed
They stand with us in our need
At the foot of the Cross
Our burdens lay
His Blood protecting us
by night & day
Give unto Him
Our concerns and prayers
He will gladly demonstrate
How much He cares

Surrender our life, our love, our hearts
And His shining light will never depart
