I am someone that you call a coffee maker ratings junkie. I love those numbers, as it helps to associate some numbers with them when I look at coffee brewers. I would see saeco as a number 3 in espresso machines and krupps as number 7 in programmable coffee maker and so on.
But reading this coffee maker ratings change my perspective! It drives home one point which I never consider and I believe most of you would never think about too -environment matters to that cuppa that you are drinking!
One of the examples given in this site highlights how Starbucks is charging based on its better ambience that it is providing to its customers. Why else would you be paying so much money for a simple cup of coffee if you are not paying for the lights, the chairs and the soothing music that you are listening to.
In fact, for those that are following the development of Starbucks, you would read about how starbucks was closed for half a day across the country for a training session to better the service level of its staff.
Service level would impact how a customer sees the offering of starbucks so if they are charging us so much for a cup of coffee, the service better be good!
Anyway, this goes to one important element in coffee maker ratings that most of us did not take into consideration which evaluating the coffee machine -the environment. That is the reason, why some folks can purchase the best coffee brewer only to report sub-standard coffee.
Sure, you cannot really use environment to review and purchase a coffee maker, but you can use it to review the coffee machine to suit your lifestyle. A machine that suits your lifestle is one that adds value to you when you are enjoying coffee with your love ones.
Take for example, if you are a couple that do not have any extended family then buying a single serve coffee maker would make the most sense and gives you the best coffee moment in terms of its ease of use.
But, if you have a large family, the perhaps you would need to get a heavy duty machine fom Saeco in order to ensure that patience do not run thin while waiting for that cup of coffee.
This is what I meant by using environment to decide the coffee maker to purchase and not merely using the numbers given by the manufacturers. Currently, the market is all abuzz with the Clover coffee machine, touted to be the best coffee machine in the world, but at $11000 and occupying a huge space, it is something that you would want to get for your house?
As it is, you can see that I am not reviewing coffee brewer the way that I was after reading that coffee maker ratings. I would recommend you to check out that this site, other than being a good read, it also comes with some free stuff that you can download.
If you would to write a short story on your own coffee experience, the owner would give you a free ebook -no question asked, regardless if you story is being accepted. That is a sweet deal, and if you got a few minutes to spare, why not try it and get that free ebook!
Trust me, no coffee can taste better than free coffee! And that ebook contains quite a number of tips on how you can get your coffee free!
