I went yesterday shopping with my husband and this was his first words when he called his mom after we returned home. I have found some really good deals yesterday, but not only that I have spend very little with cash. Almost all of my presents were paid by the gift cards from Gather or from other sites. I didn't know if I was more happier to find all those great deals, or just because my husband was so proud of me. I think I did really good yesterday, there was only one deal I have missed. I wanted Brother sewing machine from Kohl's, but when I came there at 8:00 with my husband, we could not find single one. Not only that we could not even find the empty space, where they could be before, if they were sold. I would never though that this would be such a hot item. Does anyone of you get this sewing machine from Kohl's??

Wow, you got some great deals! I went to kohls yesterday too and they had a lot of great deals. Sewing machines...I didn't even realize Kohl's sold them.

What a fun shopping day for you! We didn't brave it this year -- there was only 1 item I would have wanted, a $15 X-Box 360 game from Game Stop. I wasn't feeling well and besides it's in the same parking lot as Wal-Mart. Nooooooooo way. LOL.

Totally possible the the store where you shopped did not even get them in. That happens at our Wal Mart every year, you never know if they are going to have the stuff in the "day after" ad. Sometimes they get 4 of an item, esp big items like tvs. so when they are gone, they are gone.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, that they probably didn't even have it Netty. It was just strange, that there wasn't any empty space, where they would be and plus they had only one other sewing machine , so I think they don't usually carry them

I noticed the sewing machine in the ad too, and I think there was one other place that had a cheap sewing machine as well. I have an old one I got from freecycle, but I am so bad at threadding it.

Thanks Frugal Mom, we have saved yesterday a lot of money.

Walmart had the same sewing machine yesterday, only it had less stichess. But I will probably wait and see if they won't have one after christmas for reasonable price.

That was a good savings and coupons even without the GC. Earning the GC just increased your bounty. Good hunting. Keep it up. Did they offer that machine on-line too.....maybe for an in-store pick up?
