My last day of work is on December 1st, barring extreme good fortune, so you'll be seeing a lot more of me in the next few weeks. That means features should be returning to their regular state of order, groups should again start being maintained with more reliability, and so forth. I went through last night and caught up on a large amount of moderation work; of course, Comment Speedway is a perennial workhorse. If I recently removed something of yours from one of my groups, it's nothing personal -- just moderating for topic or as per the rules of the group. Don't send me hatemail -- after all, I probably won't read it for at least another week. Heh heh heh.
So, anyhow. This unfortunately also means that I'm about to delve back into the realm of 'strapped for cash', which means that some of my Internet sidelines are about to become sources of income. I've been hearing that ChaCha has been problematic lately; is that true? I never got a check from them, because I got this job shortly after I started there (and thus effectively became distracted for a while.)

Well, I am here once again to interact...
thanks...
ChaCha has been having technical difficulties where people aren't getting questions and others are. They are still doing fine money wise.
Were you over the $100 payout in order to get your check from them?
I never got into Cha Cha, but my roomie has been complaining that after the first week or so of getting enough questions to qualify for the 20 cent per question level, the amount of questions coming in drops dramatically and you don't stay at that payout level very long. Others on Gather have also had issues with either no questions at all, or not being able to log in to work. The ones who manage to sidestep the 100 roadblocks they've recently put up do seem to be getting paid though.
