Dark meat or White meat ?

To me it is definitely about appeasing the particular appetite I have that requires 'accepting outside of the box' . Anticipating the 'melt in your mouth' sensation from the excitability to the palatte and then the rest of the body that feels great when entertained by this passionate affair with food of the goddesses.

Each type of meat is appealing to the mind, body and spirit when made just to perfection, but one illicits a more succulent and alive taste while the other can be dry, rendering lethargy just a few short hours later.

But there is a preference so what is yours ? As far as turkey I enjoy having white meat hopefully as succulent as possible . . .

I second that emotion! Today my brother Brian joined our crew so I had competition for the white meat. Then he entertained us by telling cool facts about birds, while perusing my talking electronic bird books. (He's got a Master's degree in zoology). If I only had a video camera, I would have posted it here. But I think his hearing may not be so good (from years of shooting) because he couldn't hear the Kingbird sound so well! Thanks for posting this - I'll check out the other articles, too!

I prefer white but many in my family like both and one prefers dark only.

the fights over white almost got a little ugly around here yesterday, my husband is OK with dark as a last option

Interesting point of discussion. I prefer the dark meat, while the rest of the family likes the white, so that means more for me!

It used to be only white for me....the older I get the more I find there is more flavor in the dark. ;)
