Critique My Squidoo Lens about Gather Please

I just built a squidoo lens about gather....something I've been wanting to do for a long time and just got to this morning!

I am in hopes you will take a look and tell me what you think.  Did I do gather justice.  Did I put enough info, if not, what else should I add?

The lens is great. Good job. I left a comment and added some Gather links but the 'post your Gather links' didn't work. As far as I know, it's still 'processing'.

I think it's great that you made a Squidoo lens about Gather, so that other people can see how wonderful of a community this is.

As for critiques, your Squidoo lens seems very comprehensive and informative. A couple things I noticed:

1. Why are the Flickr photos included? They are nice photos, however, I am not sure how they fit in here. Maybe they do serve a purpose in promoting Gather on Squidoo, however, it is not very clear.

2. One other suggestion is that maybe you could link to some of your favorite content from other members so that people can get a sense of the wide range of different people and perspectives they can come across here. I might also include a "proof of payment" image/screen cap if you have one.

Other than that, you do an excellent job of drawing people in! Your adding of a poll and allowing people the option to show off their posts is a brilliant idea for such a page, I think.

I thought it was a great lens also--better than mine and I am nowhere near 34, congratulations. You and Mary gave me some ideas that I have the weekend to work on--it will be incorporating the use of squidoo through gather and teaching the platform of each for the bridging to continue between the two good sites. For those of you that know about online writing places--posts became shares here, posts are lenses at Squidoo . . . get it ? Great !
