My mother actually told me this joke a while ago. It came to mind when I read Netty B's dumb blonde guy joke today.

2 California blondes are sitting outside star gazing one night. One of them says, "I wonder which is closer, the moon or Florida? The other replies, "Duh, you can see the moon, can't you?"

Isn't this the way that ordinary people thought of things before the evolution of science told us more? Perhaps if this dumb blonde was a few centuries old, she wouldn't be so dumb!
