Here is a killer recipe for the serious chocolate lover! 
Guaranteed to raise your 'spirits' for the holiday season ahead.
Compliments of my friend Chrissy:
One - 19.8 oz box brownie mix
1/2 cup of Kahlua liqueur (I like it with Tia Maria or Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur) too - haven't tried it with just rum-yet)
Two - 3.5 oz boxes chocolate mousse mix
Eight - 1.4 oz butter toffee bars (Heath or Skor)
One - 12 oz container non-dairy whipped topping (I prefer whipping up real whipping cream instead)
Bake brownies according to package direction. Let cool.
Poke holes throughout brownies using a wooden pick and pour in Kahlua. Set aside.
Whip chocolate mousse mix according to package direction.
Break up candy bars into small pieces.
Break up half the brownies and place in the bottom of a trifle dish. (That means a tall glass dish - so you can see the layering. Any tall glass bowl will work:)
Next, cover brownies with half the candy bar pieces
followed by half the chocolate mousse.
Layer half the whipped topping on top of the chocolate mousse.
Continue layering with remaining ingredients.
Garnish with cherries and mint leaves. Serve chilled!
