making money online

In this economic times, we all look for other ways to make money.  The internet has a vast array of opportunities, some real some not.  It is hard to always weed out the good from the bad. 

I have been a member of InboxDollars for some time now.  They send you emails to read, and there are other ways to make money such as surveys and games.  It does take some time, but I just open up the emails while I am doing other things online and that seems to move it along.

Internet sites I have found are not a source of true income but can be great to supplement as we know that every little bit can help.  Can anyone recommend any other sites which may be good sites, or for that matter know of some sites to stay away from?

well i do bzzagents and mypoints to get gift cards and i do sendearnings i also do mysurvey and pinecone hope this helps

I do inbox also...I am up to 29 dollars!!! I think it has taken me a year....but that is ok..it is an easy legit site

In addition to Gather, Mypoints adds up very slow and I get a whopping $3 or $4 check once a month for a couple survey sites. Since this has surveys and games...and it said $10 to start with a link to sign up for $5 given to you, I joined must be under your ID number. A little free money, no matter how small...I'll take it.

I tried that survey thing but half way through they say I'm not qualified or whatever - so, I'll skip that - I think I'll try inbox - anything is better than nothing and it's all fun - plus, it pays enough to buy a couple of lottery tickets a month, huh! Salud

I am a member of Send Earnings which is similar to Inbox Dollars. I have made close to $100 in the last year. It's not much, but not bad for reading e-mails and taking surveys.

i've taken my name off of most of them, inboxdollars and and its sister site (can't remember the name) I had earned something at both but never enough to cash out and I told them to cancel my accounts, $$ thrown away I guess
it's just not worth the junk mail for me

Thanks. I haven't tried Inbox. I have made a small fortune on the internet, so small it is almost invisible. A total of about $26. That means I'm paying myself about 0.0001 cents per hour. Money would be fine, but it's a good thing I have several day jobs. You might want to check out Squidoo (free membership, lots of resources), which allows easy creation of topic-based web pages called lenses that can link to Amazon, eBay and other vendors. The money from Squidoo can even go to charity. This has been the highest $/hour venture I've been associated with.
