Barack Obama is surrounding his presidency with powerful women and men. So far it models Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan while extractring lessons from George W. Bush's model.
I would like to respond to the so willing to regurgitate the media's mantra of "where is the change, these are Clinton people." Think for yourself for a second. Where do you get non republicans who have operative experience at the federal level? From the Carter Administration? Yeah, it has been that long. Democrats with federal executive experience were all working for the Clintons, many of whom were already backing Obama against Clinton during the primaries. Put that to rest, look at what they bring to the table, and move on.
Where is the CHANGE? How about non ideological people for non ideological problems. Geithner and Summers are two of the smartest folks in their fields their peers, democrats, republicans, and independents say. We've seen the previous administration fill in key posts with people who were brilliant at delivering zingers at the RNC convention. These are folks you will never, ever, see at a DNC convention.
He will ask Gates to continue. Is he from team Clinton too? Richardson will go to commerce. Is he still friendly with the Clintons after endorsing Obama over Clinton during the primaries?
CHANGE is being served in a silver platter. Look at the qualities of TEAM O, stop regurgitating the media who can't believe the campaign is over.

It is going to be slow and painful to get this country back to where it needs to be. The sane people that voted him IN trust his judgement and will support his efforts. Not everything can be done right away.....stuff a sock in your instant gratification hole and give him a chance to take office before ya bail on him! (sheesh)
Change cannot be realized based on an ignored future: it could only be realized on the "weigh" attributed to each concern.
And such change in considering things demands a lot of work: 90% work, 7% suggestions and 3% of new ideas.
I heard so many nonsense on the "future" Obama administration: applied racism, applied heavy military solutions, rhetorical campaign to set a quasi dictatorship, conservatism applying the Monroe doctrine despite the agreements, man depending of foreign countries, worse than Neo-cons, etc.
Obviously it is far easier to live in a deregulated country than in a dictatorship; but don't get wrong, in fact when deregulated, one has the duty to regulate himself and this implies an effort ; while, when living in a dictatorship some of the activities and behaviors are dictated.
However there is very fes difference at the end of the day:
In a dictatorship one knows what one cannot do, while, in democracy, one often believe having the liberty to do it.
In a dictatorship you know that the police may torture; in a democracy one believes that torture doesn't exist.
Kind of like Ford re-introducing the Model T is change.
Let's not make stuff up Jack, OK? He never said such a thing. The promise was on lobbyists unless you think the 2 are the same.
