This morning, we had breakfast at the Inn by the lake. When we went in, it was not snowing at all. By the time we left, the car was covered and big snow flakes were coming down heavily.

This photo was taken about 3:00 PM.

It was nearly impossible to see across the lake. When we have such heavy snow, it's very quiet here.
It's remarkable how quickly the snow is accumulating.
The lake isn't frozen solid yet, but soon we'll be sledding, snowmobiling and ice fishing.
I don't think anyone will be using the tire swing for a while.
We've lit the fireplace and will be spending the rest of the day indoors. The forecast is for six to eight inches. Snow is pretty to look at, but not much fun for driving. Where did I put my mukluks last spring?

Oh that looks COLD! We are expecting a little bit but then turning to rain. We actually have a flood watch up right now. Because the ground is frozen from all the cold we've had it expected just to run off.
I can't wait to see our first snowfall~

But one thing's for sure. If you want to know what the weather is going to do, wait 15 minutes.
