I just saw a story on 60 Minutes that got my blood boiling. The foreign-born widows of American citizens are being told, by the Dept. of Homeland Security, to leave the U.S., even when they have children. If their paperwork to be a citizen was not filed before their spouse died, they are told they must leave, however their children can stay. What kind of a country is this? It seems that this is happening quite frequently and the courts have heard these cases and ruled in favor of the widows, but the Dept. of Homeland Security has filed appeals in each case. If this upsets you as much as it does me, then please contact your Congressional Representatives.

I'll find the video and we will see if I agree with the bleeding hearts. I certainly won't take the word of this author.
I'm worried about all the cronies and evil-doers who have burrowed into high paying Civil service jobs in record numbers. It seems they are very hard to remove once they do this.
What Bush and company are doing makes the dirty tricks done in the West Wing as Clinton left seem like child's play. (at least it was childish) This administration is trying to do as much damage to the country he supposedly loves as possible before Jan. 20, 2009.
