Many say sit ups help flatten your stomach, but simply,. is that true? What do you think? Do you think sit ups help flatten your stomach? What exercises help flatten the stomach?
After the two pregnancies, I would like to flatten my stomach, but need Gather's help in doing so. Of course, I won't exercise until 6 weeks from now, but thought I'd go ahead and ask now before I forget to ask for advice. haha!

What worked best for me before I stopped doing it, and what I had an OB recommend, is different. You need a linoleum floor- tiles work, too, something you can slid your feet along, though. Next- wear a pair of socks, or use a towel to put your feet on.
From there, what you want to do is get into a push-up position. Keep your arms evenly spaced, not too wide or too far apart, about shoulder width apart. Your stocking feet on the floor are fine, to help them slide, otherwise, put a towel under your feet.
What you do is simply draw your feet up to your chest, sliding them along the floor as you do it. Don't do too many at a time, but sets of 10 through out the day help.
