So after we visited the Holocaust Museum, we walked around the corner to the Department of the Treasury - Bureau of Engraving & Printing
They were done doing tours for the day, but our tour leader knew the guy that was there & he agreed to give us a tour right then & there. We originally had a tour for earlier that day, but missed it since we got lost & then had a hard time finding parking!
Since they were done doing tours for the day, that meant that ours was nice & leisurly(sp). Which is very nice for our group as they tend to have a lot of questions. Of course the tour was a No Cameras Allowed area - so I had to take pictures in the gift shop, which was interesting in itself...
All uncut money!
The Money Seat!
1 Million Dollars!
So many ornate buildings in D.C., even the ceilings are nice!

More of the uncut money. I bought my husband the $2.oo bills - uncut
Outside the building
Close up of the Million Dollars
Uncut money that you can buy~
This is the entrance for the tours.
It was a great tour, I just wish I could have taken more pictures. Another great stop on the Washington D.C. tour~
