Second Helpings of Soup

I was notified recently by the Chicken Soup for the Soul publishers that they were celebrating their many successful years of publishing anthologies by creating a "best of" series of books, and that some of my work that was featured in their original books had made the cut for the "best of" books as well. So far I have received two books from the new "best of" series in which my stories are once again published.

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Dad's and Daughters includes my story A Tale of Two Fathers, which first appeared in Chicken Soup for the Bride's Soul.


















Chicken Soup for the Soul: On Being A Parent includes my story A Forkful of Humor that first appeared in Chicken Soup for the Father-Daughter Soul.

My stories in these selections appear under my real name, unlike two stories that appear in the new release by Chicken Soup for the Soul: Divorce and Recovery, where I used a pen name.

Unfortunately the authors whose stories were selected for the "best of" series don't receive additional compensation. However, the Chicken Soup people have been wonderful to work with, and have provided ample opportunities for good PR for their writers.
