As distorted as they are, I've always thought shadows were fascinating; they're the only way we can really observe our own self in nature. As a child, I used to try to "outrun" my shadow!

I don't think I ever left my kindergarten self behind. I, too, am fascinated with observing my shadow in motion.
One late afternoon when I was walking Tuck out at the cranberry bogs, I couldn't believe "how long" my shadow was. You know I've always wanted to be tall...and there I was...I got my wish... if only for a few moments.
