Well, things are going pretty well with this pregnancy. In the past few weeks, my morning sickness has gotten better AND worse at the same time, if that makes sense. Before, I was feeling nauseaus 24/7 but not throwing up. Well, that actually felt worse then just puking because I felt horrible all day long. Well, lately, I've been throwing up as soon as I stand up in the morning, but then I generally feel fine the rest of the day. So, that's a plus.
Other than that, I've been super tired. I used to stay up past 1am most nights, but now I can't seem to keep my eyes open past about 11pm. There have even been times in the past week or two where I've found myself waking up on the couch not realizing that I'd fallen asleep in the first place.
I had another ultrasound on November 12th and the baby was doing great. You could see the baby's arms and legs kicking and punching and She (wishful thinking) was even kicking her cord around and being really playful. I laughed and the movement of me laughing made her do a little sommersault in my tummy. That was amazing to watch. Her heartbeat was strong and the doctor said she is measuring a few days bigger so she's doing really great. The only drawback was that he said I had ketones in my urine, which means that my body is burning too much fat. He said that happens when you don't eat enough, your body will burn fat to feed the baby. So, ever since he told me that, I've been trying to eat a little more and eat something every couple of hours just to make sure everything's ok.
I look huge, though. I think if people see me, they probably think I'm about 4-5 months pregnant, but I'm only 10 weeks today. The doctor told me that I've LOST 10 pounds so far, so it's not that I'm getting fat too fast. He said that I'm very short in my mid-section and so the baby has nowhere to go but out. I always knew I was short (I'm only 5'3" tall) but he said that from my pubic bone to my ribcage is especially short so that makes me show earlier than most people. That was a relief to hear. At least there's a medical reason for me looking huge! LOL

Sorry about the morning sickness. Hope it goes away soon. I had it worse this time around than I did with Maddie. It finally went away around 14weeks for me.
I lost weight to begin with too this time but only 1-2lbs which I have now put back on, plus some. But I am 23weeks now, so much further than you.
;-)
I know exactly what you mean with the sick all day being worse than the actual throwing up. I threw up a lot with Rae, but with Chris, it was like your early all-day sickness, just a yucky feeling. I'm glad that's passed- that doesn't help with the eating because you never feel hungry. Just gross!
I hope all continues to go well, and good luck with getting a Girl!
Congrats Jill and feel better
When I was pregnant with Sky I also showed very early and by 10 weeks I looked huge. I'm not very tall either. It makes me a little scared about what will happen with the third pregnancy:)
I used to stay up late but ever since I was pregnant with my second child I go to bed around 10-11. I never got back to normal!
I have read that if you put some crackers by your bedside and eat a few before standing up when you wake that it helps.
Lucky you- there was NO reason I was so big! I was the worst with my daughter- I gained everywhere with her!
