If you missed out on part one you can find it: Here
So a few weeks have passed since the whole "Missing Truck" incident. And I was going along through my life, just as I had before. Not thinking about anyone, or expecting anything to be going on. I didn't even notice my ears burning, though from what I found out later on they should have been on constant fire from people talking about me. Maybe it doesn't work if the people talking about you are ones that you don't know... Hm.

I went into work the Graveyard shift, just as I had done several times before, and many times after. The current cleaning boy, his name was Josh, was working with me that night. Evidently he is good friends with Terry, and the other boys that work up at the other place. He told me that Terry had been asking him a lot of questions about me. This all being new to me, the conversation was pretty much as follows below.
Josh: Terry's been asking me a lot of questions about you.
Dawn: Who?
Josh: Terry.
Dawn: Who the hell is, Terry?
Josh: He works up at the (Bloop).
Dawn: Huh?
Josh: Well, evidently he knows about you.
Dawn: I don't see how, I've never been there.
Josh: I don't know, but you should give me your number for him.
Dawn: .... What?
Josh: The two of you should talk.
Dawn: .... Why?
Josh: Because he seems interested in you.
Dawn: .... How, he doesn't know anything about me.
Josh: Which is why the two of you should talk.
Dawn: Eh...
I dropped the conversation, and the two of us went back to working. I couldn't really understand why this guy I Didn't know, was talking about me. Not just that, but wanting to know more about me. Besides that, a part of me thought that Josh could have been pulling some sort of joke on me. I've had that sort of stuff happen in the past, and it's always so embarassing. Someone tells you so and so likes you, so you talk to them to find out it wasn't true. I was not about to go through that sort of situation again.
I have to admit though, I kept thinking about the entire situation for the rest of the night. Our shift was wrapping up, and Josh was just about to leave. So I wrote down my cell phone number on a piece of paper and threw it at him. He asked me what it was, and I said it was my number to give to that guy. He was lost at first, but then it all sunk in and he grinned and left. It was the weekend now, so Josh had the next two days off. For those two days I kept checking my cell phone, not a single call from Terry, or a text message. There was nothing but absolute silence. All weekend, no words... I was discouraged, and a little irritated at myself for getting my hopes up. But above that, I was ready to give Josh a serious piece of my mind that night, since we were once again scheduled to work together.
