New Water Heater Is In; Leak Is OUT!

I sure do understand the priceless part of it but golly gee whiz...It took lots to get that priceless. I am amazed at the price of the water heater.

I bet you feel sooooo relieved. Woot, gotta love not worrying about the basement flooding. Yay!

Selene, I just went through the same thing a couple of months ago....the bottom was rusting out due to corrosion from the water treatment processes used in our area; the plumber told me that in some areas of our city, water heaters have to be replaced every three to four years. $998.00, but I caught it before it burst--when they dropped it on the floor (after it was drained, thank goodness!), the bottom fell out. It wouldn't have lasted much more than a week or two, I was told.

That feeling of relief! There, that's done and my house is back to normal....I am looking forward to having that feeling again soon; I am having my one and only bathroom renovated and while most of the work has been done, I am SO ready for the house to be completely mine again....this has lasted over two weeks now. Supposed to be complete by Friday....

Wow, that's expensive! I guess I should be thankful when ours went, my husband went and got the new one and replaced it himself!
