I think my friend and fellow gather member Jef Bond is one of the most incredible people i know. despite being unable to afford his kidney transplant and his declining health, he was more concerned with my health issues and helped get me home when i blacked out for no reason after we met for dinner.

When we describe our incredible person, should it be in a comment to this post or should it be in a separate post? I guess I'll have to do both.

My incredible person is my sister Laura. She has been through hell and back a few times, all the while maintaining her aim to raise her three kids to be the best they can be.

She gave up her career when her first child, who was staying with our mother while Laura was working at Chrysler, started calling our mother "mama" and crying when it was time for Laura to take him home.:-) Laura had two more kids after that and needed the money she gave up when her husband's business faltered.

When Laura was in her 30s, she learned that one of her children had type I diabetes when he was 10-years-old and had a diabetic fit. This happened more than once. Each time, her husband froze and did nothing. Literally, he froze. Always Laura took charge.

When Laura was in her early 40s, she learned she had breast cancer. With little or no support from her husband, who again froze when he was needed, she had a double mastectomy.Through it all, she was never unaware of the details of her children's lives.

Shortly after her mastectomy, Laura learned that another of her children had type I diabetes. She caught it sooner because now she recognized the warning signs.

We all went through some hell when our father was in a coma for weeks, and doctors advised we pull the plug on his breathing machine. But Laura had the additional worry that her savings with her husband was depleted when he withdrew what they had saved in an IRA, then quit his job so their children no longer had medical insurance.

At this point, Laura knew she had to get a job with benefits that would insure the kids. But, after nearly 20 years away from her field, no one would hire her in her chosen profession. With Mcichigan's economy so lousy, she took what she could find--a sales associate job at a J, Crew store.

Within a year, J. Crew made Laura assistant manager, then manager at one of their other stores. Their benefits are excellent, and her children are covered. She now manages at least three J. Crew stores, two kids are in college, and one is a high school senior, accepted by Oakland University.

And she has no gray hair.

oh well, the most incredible person i have known is my sister in law.a real fighter and a survivor..The doctor gave her 1 year to live from her cancer but she's still alive and kicking for 4 years now after the doctor gave that sentence on her life ang you will be surprise and will not believe how she make it.. She is a good example and a role model not only for people who have cancer but for all of us so as to prevent illness ang protect our body from deseases.. really really amazing and even doctors couldn't believe that she's still alive until now..

hi everyone. i want to apologize for my TOS violation. i wasn't aware that my article for my friend Jef was against it. i was just trying to help save the life of a pretty incredible person. there aren't too many people that i would have done something like that for, as i too don't like to ask people for help often. thanks everyone for understanding and again, sorry for my faux pas.

I joined the "Incredible" group after I read this message. On November 22, I posted an article called "Our Incredible Laura." The article never appeared here. I double checked the post to be sure I submitted it to this group, and I did. I emailed the group owner to ask why my article never appeared, but I got no response.

My soon to be husband. We have been together 5 years on December 26th and it has been the greatest 5 years of my life! My life has changed so much since we have got together.. I no longer drink or smoke.. I do not go out to bars or parties.. I am a lucky SAHM to our 4 kids. My soon to be husband works full time and does all he can to make sure I get to be home with our kids.. were basically the old fashion kind of family.. We have so much fun together.. we love to go out to eat and go shopping, We really enjoy riding 4 wheelers and go cart with our kids. We love playing the wii and Rockband 2 also! Pretty much everything we do we do as a family with all the kids. We hardly ever do anything that does not include our children! Many people may call us crazy but its fun doing things with them.. as long as my hubby is with us then its okay.. hard when he is working and I have to do it alone though :)) He is so incredible to me though because he always makes me happy and knows when to cheer me up. I love how he wakes up in the morning and blares the radio and dances with the kids.. sure makes me smile and wake up happy ;) Hes a free caring spirit and I love it! He is SOO very incredible to me in all aspects of my life!

today's incredible person in my life is Issac Everett Bailey who was born today at 8:15pm weighing in at 4 lb 6.7 oz to some very dear friends of mine. it was an early birth with some complications, but both mom and baby Ike are doing great.

i think the most incredible person in my life is my mother. she taught me to a strong individual with a backbone. now that she is very sick and needing a liver transplant,it's all coming together for me. the things she taught me over the years, how unselfish she was raising me as a single parent.she is 69 yrs old and does not want the transplant. she says she has lived her life and someone young should get it who is just starting their memories.the song by bette midler, about you are my hero is very fitting for her. she is my hero.

Thanks, my mother-in-law is the most optimistic and incredible person. She is 83 and loving every momemt of her life.

My 15 yrs Old Son For Giving away His Granny's stuff who Passed away and Had sooooo Much New And Used Nice stuff he Didn't want and told Me To Use On Here as Prize's For contest For People For Christmas...

My mom is pretty incredible.

HI eggs are my every morning breakfast. I eat them boiled, poached, or fried. I love eggs. I enjoy a incredible life with my children, grandchildren and my great grands.

Sometimes it seems like kids are the only incredible people in the world, not really true, but sometimes. Since they are so unbiased and innocent, not hardened by years of disappoint or shaped by their experiences into a believer, disbeliever, etc. My son is so wonderful because he is so natural responsive to people, and he asks the most profound questions of people because of his innocence. My daughter always knows when people need consoling and love, and gives it to them, often even people that she doesn't even know well. My baby is pure joy and beauty, overwhelming reminder to me of why we had kids in the first place.

I think a very incredible group of people I know is the USMC. So many people in the Marine Corps are going to be away from their families this holiday season, just to keep our country running the way it does. As a Marine girlfriend whose boyfriend WILL be home for Christmas, I am lucky. However, I know a lot of Marine families who don't have that joy, to have that family member home for Christmas. I know there are also many Marine families who will never have that Marine home again... ever.
I see the sacrifice that not just the Marines, but ALL the armed forces give up, and I just want to say hats off to everyone, in every branch of service. God bless them all, and God keep them safe!

I have 3 very great kids who just happen to give me the greatest gift of 5 grandkids I have 2 girls and 1 boy. My grandbabies ar 3 girls and 2 boys, I even have one born on Christmas day. How great is that, another one on New years Eve. They are all the best the big ones and the little one

My son is the incredible one in our family. You see he has been through so much and yet he never gives up. He is a true warrior and my hero. Whenever one of us is down we just look to him for strength. He is quite the comedian and has a way of putting things in perspective quickly. He has Emery-Dreifuss MD, which is a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. He has been put through so many serious surgeries and delt with so much and never gives up or complains. He always has a smile. He can not do for himself but still has the use of his hands, mind, voice and can use the computer which has become his life line, that and his rc controlled car. He has taught me much over the years. He is also a great brother to his sister and wonderful son who inspires us all to be strong and never give up.

My three girls are all very different from one another but loved equally!

i think i am a member too, a incredible person is my mom in law who fought cancer twice and beat that ****, she was being strong for us, working while she had cancer, supporting us and our little baby, when she was all recovered, she lost her mom last month and her dog. But she is still being strong!!!!

MY INCREDIBLE PERSON IS MY HUSBAND, HE IS THE KINDNESS, SWEETNESS AND SO UNDERSTANDING MAN, YOU WOULD EVER WANT TO HAVE, WHEN I WAS YOUNG ABOUT AGE 9 TIL 13 I WAS ABUSED IN TERRIBLE WAYS ,JUST TO PLEASE SOME OF THE SICKO, OF SOCITY, I WAS THREATEN THAT I GET KILL,IF I TOLD ANYONE, NO SCHOOL, BUT HOME SCHOOLING, BUT IT WAS BAD TEACHING AND I FAILED SO BAD. YEARS WENT BY, AND I BECAME SO SCARED OF THEM, CRYING ALL THE TIME, ASKING FOR HELP , FROM GOD. WELL THAT DAY CAME. I RAN AWAY TO SEE A FRIEND THAT I KNEW,SHE HELP ME TO BE FREE. AND WE PUT ALL THE BAD PEOPLE AWAY IN JAIL. I LOVE HER SO. LATER WHEN I WAS READY TO LIVE ON MY OWN , AND FIND MY WAY IN LIFE, FREE FROM THE SICKO WHO HURT CHILDREN FOR THEIR SICK DEEDS OF SEX ON CHILDREN SO ;YOUNG, WHY? SICK MEN AND WOMEN IN THIS WORLD . I CALL HOME. MY HUSBAND HELP ME , LOVE ME , SO. REAL LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING WAYS THAT HE SHOWN ME LOVE AND RESPECT TO EACH OTHER THE WAY THAT LOVE SHOULD BE.
