Last week I posted, Should I complain? about a recent trip to Arby's! I contacted the store in which I had visited and got this response back last night via e-mail!
Hello Bridget,
My name is Lance Wasson. I received your on line concern regarding your recent visit to our store. I want to sincerely apologize for you being charged for the red ranch sauce you requested with your order. This is clearly a training issue that I will immediately address. We should not be charging for simple requests such as this. The only time we would charge for extra sauce is if the guest requests a large amount, and even then, not $2.40.
I would like to talk to you and get permission from you to make this right. I would like to send you a certificate for a free combo meal at any Arby's of your choice. If you wish you may call me at XXX-XXXX or respond to this email with your number and I will call you. I look foreward to speaking with you, and again, apologize for your experience in our store.
Sincerely,
Lance Wasson
Arby's General Manager
It's nice to know that they value their customers and are going to make this right!

And so are you. You did the right thing by letting the company know about what happened. No business can address a problem unless the management is aware of the difficulty.
