It looks like Britney Spears is trying to revitalize her career once again. Her new album "Circus" is going to be released with a TV documentary that sheds some light on her darkest days.
Apparently, Britney says she looks back at the days following her breakdown as something of the past.
“I sit there and I’ll look back and I'm like, ‘I’m a smart person. Like what the hell was I thinkin?’” she says in an MTV promotion for the documentary.
After divorcing k-fed, losing her kids, shaving her head, and delivering performances that can only be considered a flop, it seemed like Britney was a thing of the past. The episodes of her breakdown, rather than her music, turned into the entertainment of choice for her fans.
One step that Britney has taken in her recovery is handing over control of her money and medical decisions to her father. He has served as a guiding force, and it seems like he will be a positive influence in her life.
Despite falling hard, she still put out another chart topping single this year. "Womanizer" has been receiving a ton of attention, which is obviously a good sign for Britney. Some argue that she can make the same come back as Mariah Carey did with the "Emancipation of Mimi."
Do you think that Britney can get her head back in the game, or is it too late for her?
