Ok, I have to get this off my chest because its been bothering me for about two years now....With that being said, here is the situation.
My daughter has a Physical Education teacher that is so unfit its not even funny. I know thats horrible to say but the lady is really overweight, so much to the fact that she has a hard time walking.
This really bothers me. I think that if you teach P.E. then you should be able to keep up with the kids and this lady can't. Grant it the kids are only in elementary school but to me she is not being an example. If she was a regular teacher fine but here she is yelling at the kids that they need to get in shape and yet she can hardly walk.
I understand that some people have medical conditions that keep them from being "skinny" but they aren't trying to teach our young children to be fit either. I'm far from being in shape myself but then again, I'm not a PE teacher and have never wanted to be.
I don't understand why a school would hire a PE teacher like this. My daughter told me that she never plays with them all she does is sit in a chair and yell at them to do things.
I really want to talk to the Principal about this. Do you think I should? If I do, what should I say?

I literally heard her say, "I don't feel like getting up so knock it off." Ummm.....
Just saying'.
Although my cousin's girlfriend is a fat dietician LOL
Would you hire a science teacher who doesn't know science?
Why would you hire a physical education teacher who can't be physical?
You've reached 20 comments! Congratulations!
I sure feel better physically now!
If the P.E. teachers looses her job because of weight. She can have a discrimnation lawsuit started.
