What is your favorite thing to do in WINTER?

It looks like winter has arrived here, though the calendar would say that we have another month or so.  The snow started to fall last night and the temperature this morning was a chilly 24 degrees outside.  The light snow and frozen roads made it a bit slip and slidy this morning.

SO, what is your favorite thing to do during the winter? What is the best thing about winter?  Do you have any positive insights about how to enjoy winter to the fullest?

bundle up as warm as possible and spend all day outside taking in the beauty of nature

Snuggle up next to the fireplace or settle under a warm down comforter with a steaming cup of gourmet coffee or cocoa and home baked chocolate chip cookies (this will put on pounds)

Take a brisk hike in the woods with a camera to catch icy pictures of the world around you (this will take off those pounds gained noshing by the fire)

Play in the snow with a kid - build a snowperson, have a snowball fight - you'll feel like a kid again :)

I really do not like winter at all. I was born and raised in Iowa and have never liked winter. Other kids went sledding, I stayed in where it was warm and read books.

Cuddling is my favorite thing to do. Now, if I could only find someone to cuddle with instead of the damn body pillow on my bed all the time.

Stay at home and snuggle with my basset hound. I can't think of anything good about winter, except maybe it kills bugs. I spend a lot of time wishing it were spring.

Stay inside! i don't like the cold much. I do like to brave it to play in the snow though.

I try to look at winter as a time of mixed emotions. I love it on some days, like the days when it is not too cold and the trees are covered by the blanket snow and the sun is shining a smile on them, then there are those days of blistery winds that are singing "Stay in Bed!!!"
