My Heart Is Filled With Gratitude

As most of you know, we have been having a hard time dealing with suicide in the family. Add this to the economy and everything else that has been going on, it has been difficult to say the least. However, the last couple days, I have felt more gratitude than I have for a long time. I have friends who are just the best.  All these friends are people whom I have met on gather.com

I received an email today from a lady who sent me an online gift card. I know this woman has no money and this meant so much to me. I cried as I opened the email. She said she wanted me to have it. She was afraid that it was not enough but it was more than enough. It meant more to me than if I had received a $1,000 check from someone who was rich.

A few days ago, I received a box from another gather.com friend.  She sent wrapped gifts for my family. She has a heart of gold.  I love her dearly even though I have never met her in real life. She is a  dear friend.

This does not list all those whom have made a difference in my life on gather but these are the ones on my mind right now.  I appreciate all my friends on gather.

My husband's job sent a beautiful plant to our home with sympathy from the employees. 

Today we received a sympathy card from my husbands boss and it had a check in it. We were so humbled at the thought that he cared enough to send a card much less a check.

We are indeed truly  blessed and sometimes I forget just how blessed we are. It is not the money that makes us happy. It is the love that we feel on a daily basis from so many wonderful people who make us humble.  Heavenly Father must really be pleased with his children. You are his children.   So with gratitude, I say "Thank You Gather For Helping Me Find Such Treasure".
