Morning all
I slept last night from 10 til 7:30 this morning. I guess I was catching up. We didn't have all that much sleep in the past few days. I feel so bad that I haven't gotten to your posts. If the B&B would have had internet I would have, I had to sit in a slanted parking lot just to write a few sentence and it was actually painful trying to type. Plus I was with a group of people, how can I tell them I will be back in a few hours...I am looking for internet!
The weekend was crazy, between not getting the promised connections, investigators becoming sick and having to actually stay in their rooms, to tornado watches, flooding three doors down(really). We were at the Sentimental Journey , the Farnsworth down the block(same) but at the bottom of the slight hill....it came down like a hurricane for a few moments. We went outside to go to our cars and we noticed all the people just staring and cars going slow. There is a small , I guess stream on that property, it must have overflowed. The entire area was flooded. We joked that if people were in the Farnsworth basement and if they were asking for a sign....and a wall of water came in. Hopefully, no tours were going on...but I think they were. We were going to stay at the Farnsworth at first but they only had a few rooms available so we went to the next places...Good thing.
By tomorrow I should be back on track here. I have the stomach dr in a few minutes ..so I have to get going soon.
