I try not to write more than one article a day...and not even every day...so I don't flood the feeds with my works and give others a chance to be read and seen. I've noticed on Gather's 'Most Viewed' and 'Most Discussed' lists, I get rated among the top members with my one post, while being surrounded by others who share many works to achieve the same status. I make one dollar for my efforts and they're making five to ten times that amount.
I decided, today, I'm going to join the ones who post multiple times daily...each and every day...just to see what happens. My articles won't be long winded like I'm noted for. Instead of spending hours creating something to share, I'm going to do like many and take but a few minutes to come up with my posts...and they probably won't be as meaning full as things I've done in the past; kind of like some of the articles I've seen others share. I know I won't attain the same results I'm used to; several hundred views and over one hundred comments on a sole post. I figure, if you can't beat 'em; join 'em. Be nonsensical and see what happens when I add everything together...so here goes......
I had beer, tuna fish and hard boiled eggs last night. I just farted!
I noticed several articles about farts and gas (the non-petroleum kind) last night. Since we do this all-natural function at least 14 times a day; I'm going to share each and every one of them with you! Others share their little details with you, so I am, too. Enjoy!

I just fell out of the chair LMAO uncontrollably. I don't know what to say, other than welcome to the crowd of us trying to get as many GC before Christmas. I posted twice yesterday, but none since like friday so I guess I do even out to just once a day, give or take.
I have a camera, so do you, take those pictures my friend, we wanna see what you see. You go for walks often, take that camera and post those. How about videos, can you camera do a couple of seconds of video? We get more pts to post and view videos, I just found that out the other day, so I am about videod out, but hey my points are moving up, up, up!
Hell I have trouble staying up with my friends serious posts, and well crafted photos, much less stupid things that are posted just because. I don't do games, some music lyrics and stuff, I'll look at, but they lose their freshness after the 15th post of the same.
I took a note out of your book, Rob and did a lot of deleting the last week. But I do enjoy your articles. :-) (((Hugs)))
he will clear the house out
I deleted a few one liner winners this weekend, and one took care of it for me (thank you), and my feed looks so pretty now. I must say though, my fat trimming was an attempt to get the better stuff to stick on my feed and this farting business is what I was trying to eliminate......but since it's you, it's ok I guess.
I like to keep my feeds open for people like you, and for people who post things I will be interested in reading or looking at. I appreciate your not wanting to clog up my feeds, and if I see something by you, I will almost always read it (whether or not I comment.)
"Farting is always fun".............hubby says the "loud ones" and the "smelly ones" are not nearly as fun unless he in the vehicle or better yet in the bed (both, of course, with me) LOL
You won't believe this, but I was thinking about doing something similar. Shanny needs the money!
But I should be good for a +14 day with those kidney beans in the potato salad. I'll also be refueling when I have more of it for lunch. FFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTT!
The Stink in Farts Controls Blood Pressure

A smelly rotten-egg gas in farts controls blood pressure in mice, a new study finds.
The unpleasant aroma of the gas, called hydrogen sulfide (H2S), can be a little too familiar, as it is expelled by bacteria living in the human colon and eventually makes its way, well, out.
The new research found that cells lining mice's blood vessels naturally make the gas and this action can help keep the rodents' blood pressure low by relaxing the blood vessels to prevent hypertension (high blood pressure). This gas is "no doubt" produced in cells lining human blood vessels too, the researchers said.
"Now that we know hydrogen sulfide's role in regulating blood pressure, it may be possible to design drug therapies that enhance its formation as an alternative to the current methods of treatment for hypertension," said Johns Hopkins neuroscientist Solomon H. Snyder, M.D., a co-author of the study detailed in the Oct. 24th issue of the journal Science.
Snyder and his colleagues compared normal mice to mice that were missing a gene for an enzyme known as CSE, long suspected as being responsible for making hydrogen sulfide. As they measured hydrogen sulfide levels taken from tissues of the CSE-deficient mice, the scientists found that the gas was depleted in the cardiovascular systems of the altered mice. By contrast, normal mice had higher levels of the gas, thereby showing that hydrogen sulfide is naturally made by mammalian tissues using CSE.
Next, the mice were subjected to higher blood pressures comparable to serious hypertension in humans. Scientists had them respond to a chemical called methacholine that relaxes normal blood vessels. The blood vessels of the CSE-lacking mice hardly relaxed, indicating that hydrogen sulfide is a huge contender for regulating blood pressure.
Hydrogen sulfide is the most recently discovered member of a family of gasotransmitters, small molecules inside our bodies with important physiological functions.
But seriously, I hardly ever post anymore, so you can use all of my space okay? lol
It's mostly annoying when your feed says that SirSmancyPants shared a post at 11:03am, 11:05am, 11:09am, 11:14am, and 11:20am and every single post (if you bother to look at them) are like 4 sentences long.
But thank you for your interesting post. (by the way, I followed Tracy here because her comment piqued my curiosity!)
I don't post a ton of articles each day and sometimes don't even post at all... but most of the things I publish ARE random about my plain 'ol mundane existence.
It sure would suck if you're making fun of ME -- just because I like to share my life with others. Sorry some of us are really dull.
Rob, do you want your Willy Wonked?
Tee hee....Add some coleslaw (or any product containing one of the brassicas--cabbage, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower) for a heightened effect. Onion and garlic add their own piquant note.
TAKE COVER! Cauliflower cloud over Manhattan!
