I Have Two New Babies Tonight...

This evening I took in two new kittens from my neighbor because they weren't getting enough to eat. I wish I could have taken more but I just couldn't. I need to find someone who has a vehicle who is willing to help me get the others to a no-kill shelter. The man who has the cats just doesn't understand that a lot of what he's feeding them isn't good for them and he is on SSI and doesn't have the money to support them. I don't want the cats to suffer or be killed at a shelter so I really need to find some way to get them to a no-kill shelter.

If anyone has any ideas or lives in the Los Angeles area and would be willing to help me, I'd be really grateful. If I had the funds to rent a car or even a u-haul van, I'd take them myself. I just want to get the cats to safety.

ummm, why doesn't he try getting the cats fixed. There are plenty of low income programs that help with that sort of thing. Thank you so much for taking in 2 of the little kitties.

Even with low income, it still cost about 30 dollars or more for each animal. Some people can't afford even that. I hear there are some vets that will neuter, but not spay for nothing, but I haven't found any. I live in Virginia farm country and unfortunately there are so many cats that aren't fixed. Most are living wild.
