I'm tired and unmotivated

I'm slacking tonight in doing school work. I need to get off of gather and actually work on some of those semester projects that are due here within the next week or two but I'm just not motivated to do them

They're boring and uninteresting and honestly who wants to do something that they aren't interested in? Surely not me.  Give me the hands on projects (not the research and write a paper) and I will jump right on it.

Tell me, how do you make something boring into something fun so that you don't dread doing it?

try promising yourself rewards at different stages of the process. It might help you stay on task if you get some fun stuff along the way.

Wish i could tell ya.. I'm a huuuge procrastinator myself, and have a tendency to put things off til the last minute..especially if it's not something I have interest in LOL Guess the only way to get it done is just force yourself to do it and get it done.. sooner ya start, sooner it can be done and over with. :O)

I usually procrastinate to the last minute, than drink loads of coffee smoke to many cigarettes and stay up all night.

Look up your work on the web that could make a spark. Check with other students in school, or a chat with your prof. Get the sleep you need eat fish tuna is brain food and lots of fruit keeps your mind sharp. Be sure to have a good walk clears out the mind and lets the good ideas float in. Most of all good luck.

Priscilla is right, once your done you can do something really fun and dont have to worry about your homework stuff anymore... go for it, you can do it!!!

I used to try to make a game out of my school projects for classes that were not in my field. That was a long time ago though.

I have a paper due in two weeks, and I'm so far behind!! It's time to kick the hubby and son out, and bring on the music and mountain dew! That's how I tackle stuff, LOL!

I'm not much of a help...I am a big procrastinator!

I grounded myselp from gather this past weekend so I could get the house clean. We have family coming this weekend and it was in desperate need :(

Now, I am so far behind here! I can't win!!

I usually try to do it right away and get it over with because the longer i leave it sit the more I dread it. Where as if i get it over with I can think wow i am glad that is done!
