Words are weapons
Sharper than steel
That pierce thin armour
Spun from all I feel
You turned your back, walked away
My love for you was spurned
I can't stand the ice in your eyes
Your acceptance was all I yearned
So long I pretended
Nothing was wrong
So long I chose to be blind
Believing that I could be strong
But that was just a lie
I told myself as I cried
Just so that I could go on
Never thought you'd leave me behind
In your petty intrigues
Your dramas, your theatre of lies
So long I was a pawn
So long I was lost in false guise
So now this is goodbye
This is so long
I know that you'll think of me
When I am far gone
