Toddler Craft! Perfect Gift!!!!!

Hi Moms and Dads!

I have a great idea for your toddler to do this holiday season.  It is decoupaging a vase.  My son made me one for a gift.  You would normally use a paste with this project and I would do so with other children.  We just used Elmer's glue on ours since it is nontoxic and safe for all ages.  We used pieces of tissue paper and lots of glue and covered the vase.  I then picked up some glitter glue to add to the creativity and some sewing accessories.  They make little decorations you can find in all sorts of styles.  Checking in the scrapbooking section would also be a good avenue.  We topped ours off with some pipecleaners and had our finished product.  Your little one will love designing this and my little man is so proud of this vase every time I get it out!  Warning....it is probably one of the most fun and messiest crafts I have done!!!  Grandma's, Moms, Aunts, and other Women will love this gift!

Nice idea! It also works covering the vase with pieces of masking tape and then painting watercolors over it, gives it a really nice effect. Then you can decorate it more if you desire. My kids used to love making these.
