Woman Catches Caregiver Abusing Elderly Father

This just boils my blood, these people need to go to jail, directly to jail. Any type of abuse is wrong, but children, the elderly and mentally handicapped who don't have a voice; just horrific!!

They closed an elderly care facility about 20 miles from here for this.It's horrible

It makes me crazy that a person can do that to someone else, and to think she might have gotten away with it, if there was no video.

If this witch is ever caught, I say ship her butt right back to Kenya with nothing and let her worry about things once she gets back home where she belongs. We don't need her type in our country...and surely not caring for our citizens using her tactics.

I can't watch the video. I cared for my mother while she was under hospice care last Nove/Dec until she passed in Jan (12) and I still vividly remember my husband and I sleepping in shifts so that she was never alone is she wanted or needed something that for abuse to the elderly......well, lets' not go with what I could do to such people.

That video is so disgusting and makes me downright sick. It is appalling that people do such despicable things to our elderly...........that woman needs to be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. This makes me soooooooo furious!

I did not watch this video. I read all the comments and I know that I'm not going to watch it. I too took care of my Mom until I couldn't and then had to put her in a nursing home the last year of her life. I to was there everyday. She was so heavily drugged that she slept through the nights. Oh my, oh my, I hope she at least received jail time for the cruelty that your replys are suggesting. I'm not watching.

It is such a shame how the elderly are treated. These are people who have paved the way for us and we should do everything we can in any way we can to help them - related or not - if you know someone who is alone, please check on them - sometimes family doesn't bother - in this case, I am truly sorry that the older gentleman had to suffer such humiliating abuse. Imagine what went through his head - worked all his life to be slapped and mistreated. Poor thing. I think that there should be grants to give folks these web cam things to put up in every house where there is a care giver.
This woman will be punished - count on it - already she is in hiding and in a way, that is suffering - I am sure eventually she will get caught. Send this to everyone you know as I will...thanks for exposing yet another person abusing the elderly, Maria. I will pray for the old gentleman. Salud

I don't know what to say. I can't grasp the concept of why somebody would want to do this. It makes no sense at all.

That caregiver is lucky she didn't work for me! You can't trust anyone anymore and it's a shame. I had to put my grandfather in a rehab center after he was released from the hospital. He was suffering from Congestive Heart Failure and was physically weak and swollen. He was well enough to be released from the hospital, but not strong enough to go home.

My grandmother and I went to visit him everyday. One day when we went to see him he told me about how he had fallen on his way to the bathroom and couldn't get up. Both my grandfather and his roomate screamed for help for over an hour and no nurse came. Finally he got himself up and into his wheelchair. He had badly injured his ankle. He wasn't supposed to get out of bed unassisted, but had to use the bathroom and the nurses weren't coming to help him. They told him to go in his bed and they would come clean him up. Where's the dignity in that?

That wasn't even as bad as this video, but they sure heard about it from me. Thankfully, he was only there for a short time. People who commit these crimes should be tied down and beaten. I'm sorry, but there's no excuse for this and jail is too nice for them.

My sister worked in a nursing home, and one night she was checking rooms and heard a noise in a room that was being staffed by someone else. He had fallen out of bed and hit his head. She yelled for help and hit the button, and called 911, wrapped his head and put pressure on it, and sat in a pool of blood just cradling him in her arms. The workers finally showed up just as the ambulance got there. She came home in some old ladies clothes, carrying her bloody clothes in a bag. She was so upset. She just sat and cried the rest of the night. The guy had no family that cared enough to throw a fit, but she tried. She reported them to everyone she could, and had to be put on another shift because of the tension. It is sad.

I would have called the police and had her arrested.

If that was me i would kick her A##! Who's does that? How upsetting

This is something I just don't understand. Yet it is far from uncommon. Nevertheless each incident is tragic and horrible.
