I am so close to my due date, I can practically taste it! LOL  I am due November 18th and last night, I thought for sure it was off to the hospital I go.  I was having contractions every 2-5 minutes for a few hours. I called my doc after like 1 1/2 hours and he said, "Well, don't head there yet...they sound too inconsistent."  I was a little upset but figured they would get closer together and more intense. Well, needless to say, they didn't and I am still pregnant. I didn't get any sleep last night because of pain and pressure.  I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO READY!!!!!!!!!!!  Tomorrow is my oldest son's birthday and he said he wouldn't mind the baby being born on his special day.  Of course, he could change his mind about it if it really did happen!

So, send me more labor vibes. Apparently, the last batch didn't take....  *sigh*

I work in a maternity home, Sarah...and what you experience is common to what the ladies here experience. One of our clients has been to the hospital 2 times with false labor. She is finally being induced tomorrow, since she is late. Hopefully your little one will come soon! Congrats!

My youngest sister is due in January and she is starting to tell the baby no later than January 1st. Everyone in the family has guessed the birth date and the birth weight, and whoever is the closest for each gets a prize....

Of my 6 kids, all were born early but one, and he was born on his due date. None were late. The earliest was 3 1/2 weeks early, 2 were 2 1/2 weeks early, and 2 were 1 1/2 weeks early.

Well, I hope it's soon, but I can tell you from experience, it's not the best to have to share a b'day with a close family member. I can't imagine having to share it with a sibling. As a child, that would suck.
