The Stock Market is Driving Me Crazy! LOL

I'm not too worried because most of the companies I have bought stocks in are doing OK and I am now investing for income instead of growth.  I invested for growth for over ten years and nothing seemed to grow.

But, this market just goes up and down, up and down.  I wonder if it will ever end as it has been like this for a couple of years it seems.  I get hopeful one day and let down the next.  *sigh*

Just think if this was your retirement funds and you were ready to retire in a few years. That's our position. It's horrible.

Yeah, my dad just retired about a year ago from GM, talk about good timing. I hope he's got his money and pension in a good place.

i only own 3 out right. i had to cash my 401k in to pay the the rent. but their holding their own. but it does drive you crazy.

My husband is getting a stock vest soon and his stock is 50% what is usually is. :(

I KNOW DARLENE, WE HAVE LOST HALF OF OUR RETIREMENT MONEY AND WE ARE RETIRED NOW FOR 2 YEARS. THIS IS SO SCARY.

we are mixed between buying stocks or buying another rental property, it is tough to decide.
one way we could have pain in the butt tenants (our present one is great) the other way we could have a stock crash..
