Wow, this week has been awesome when it comes to product testing.
This week I am testing jello, poptarts, cereal and diapers. I'm not mentioning any brand names as this is against my contracts, and in some cases I don't even know if the products are store brands or brand names.
Product testing is really a great way to help influence products, save on your grocery budget and in many cases you get a monetary reward as well. I am often amazed at how far companies go to ensure that consumers test their products, and I have even received frozen food products such as ice cream and entrees to test, where they came with Fed-Ex in a freezer box. They always include a thermometer so I can make a note of the temperature of the product once I open it initially. To my surprise the ice cream I received was still completely frozen.
I have done product testing for 1 1/2 years, and it has really helped out a lot on our grocery budget. I have tested many bags of diapers, wipes, lots of differet food products, shower gels, expensive perfumes and lots of other things since I started. I made a list a while ago with my favorite sites, and it really seems that the longer I am a member of these sites and take surveys regularly the more products I get to test.
Over the past 1 1/2 years I have learned which sites to steer away from, which sites that were worth my time, which ones have the most product testing offers, and which ones pay the best. I rarely take surveys unless I am rewarded with points or cash in some way, although I do take occasional 2 minute surveys from Surveyspot just to ensure that I keep getting the best offers.
Do you do surveys, and do you get lots of product testing offers? Which is your favorite product testing site? I think it depends a lot about the demographics of your household, and I guess our family of four with a toddler and an elementary school child is in the main focus group.

Marsha, I love testing laundry detergent, as this is one of those big cost items on my grocery list.
Candy, you can check out the list that I made by clicking at the "I made a list a while ago with my favorite sites," clickable link in the post, or you can copy and paste the following into your browser.
http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977362409&nav=MyGather
My favorites were shampoos, conditioners and hair sprays.
the other is shespeaks.com
I don't have that much time on my hands.
I dont like surveys either.
I like to test products but not take surveys.
I will check out your links.
Shannon, I have never tested shampoo or conditioner, which I think is odd since I go through so much:)
ys, I love bzz agent, and I recently got a good one from shespeaks. I'm a SAHM, and I am great at multitasking.
I love Bzz agent, and I am currently waiting for two bzz kits.
I like the idea of product testing, haven't had a look at your list in a while though.
I am currently testing some cereal (yummy) & I recently was able to test some toilet paper while I had a cole (it was great on my nose!).
One of the best ones that I got was a cholesterol checker to try out. It was a bit creepy at first because you have to prick your finger, but we got over that. The unit itself is about $100 at CVS, even on sale, so it was a great freebie. I have bought refill test strips a couple of times and we check our blood every three months or less.
The absolute best one was the Sonicare toothbrush from BzzAgent last year. I use it three times a day!
I almost wish we had little ones so we could get some of the cool stuff like you do.
I've done sunscreens, make up, several different food products, razors, shaving gels and creams, a swiffer type mop, air fresheners, and perfume. I've actually never had a baby product to try, which I guess is just as well since mine has such sensitive skin that I would be afraid to use it anyway. :)
Although I haven't done product testing, I have gotten a few free samples from other sites I visit....
Good luck everyone! =)
LOL Those are brand names. Isn't it funny how we say brand names for things without even realizing it. For example when we sat can I have a klenex instead of tissue.
I am going to check out your list now but two of my favorite product test companies which I am sure have already been mentioned above are My Survey and Buzz Agent.
