I don't know about you but I love, love, love Fall. It's so amazing to me. I love the way the leaves change, the air smells and the look of everything around us. The old things leaving to make way for the new things to come in the Spring. I wait with anticipation to see what will come next year when the gardens and trees start to bloom. I love Spring as well but not quite as much because of the rain.
Fall is a great time to think about how God takes the old and makes it new. It's such a great promise from him. I love thinking about how he changes us just like the seasons and fall being the one that stands out the most in showing God glory. Just as he takes the leaves and changes the colors he will do the same for us. He will take us from the green leave that looks like everyone else and make us into something new. The old stuff dies away and then Spring comes and we are new and whole. The cool thing is we don't have to wait for the seasons to change. God's work can happen now. We don't have to wait until Spring to see it.
Things that bloom and grow always amaze me and I never get sick of watching the creation take place.
Today I encourage to spend time looking around at the nature near you. You never know what might be hiding there beneath the leaves and the acorns.
