Update on C-section! ~BABY HALEE~

So, finally the doctor has set the time and is serious about a C-section this Friday, November 14, 2008. I am nervous about the procedure. Don't get me wrong, I have had a C-section with my oldest child previously just a year ago, but I guess its normal mommy anxiety. Please pray for us, that the procedure will go smoothly and our little girl will born healthy and with LOUD lungs! ;)

I did ask the OB/GYN regarding weight and waited until all other patients were seen and he did an ultrasound and has determined she will weigh approximately 7 1/2 pounds and her maturity by amnio-fluid testing sounds on target for Friday. I was wrong and he told me today on Friday, I will be 36 weeks, 5 days and that is about when Gracee was born. To be exact; Gracee was born 36 weeks, 4 days. I'm excited, but nervous.

PS. I cannot eat anything past midnight tomorrow night! BUMMER! I get the munchies with pregnancy. This will be hard, but with Walter constantly going around reminding me, how can I forget? ::laughs::

If the baby is over 6 lbs, then she's not a premie, which is a good thing. Sounds like both you and the baby are ready. Good luck...I hope all goes well Michelle.

you will do great... after having a natural birth and a c section I would go with a c section any day of the week.... look forward to pictures of baby Halee.

OMG How exciting. I'm so happy for you guys. The 14th is a good date, thats my favorite cousins bday. I cant wait to see pics. Do you think your hubby will be able to post pictures while your still in the hospital?

What a lovely name! How exciting - my prayers are with you that all goes well. (I had 2 C's, 2 years apart and thankfully everything was fine - I'm sure it will be a good delivery and the baby will be beautiful and healthy.) In fact, after the delivery and all the related stuff it's almost like a mini vacation in the hospital with your new little baby (if only the food were better). Enjoy this special time with your family - look forward to the pics and stories :)

Beautiful name for your precious daughter! Will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!!!! Having had 3 C-sections myself, I know how you are feeling!!! All the anxiety and nervousness will disappear as soon as you hold your precious baby in your arms!!!!! God bless!!!!

I'm guessing that by now you're holding your beautiful new baby! Congratulations! I hope the surgery wasn't too rough on you! I had c-sections with both my boys, and I truly believe that the second go 'round was a walk in the park compared to the first one. You'll be up and going in no time and even amazing yourself!
