We went to Target tonight. Normally, we do not shop at Target, since Meijer's and Walmart are usually cheaper and having sales where we live. So, we decided, what the heck? Gather has the Target GC option, mise well check out the prices, right?
So, that's exactly what we did. With myself being pregnant, I rolled around on a scooter and of course, Target isn't open long, so we didn't have much time, and asking the lady what time we arrived, it was 9:12 p.m. and they closed at 10:00 p.m., so that gave us approximately 45 minutes to look around. Not long, huh? But we saw ALOT within that time.
First, we hit the electronics. What man cannot go without a movie, right? SO, my man is begging me to get a movie and he finds the SALES first in electronics and we see some collector's movies:
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - $7.50
Flight of the Navigator (what my man bought)- $7.50. He told me normally this movie ranges $20 range online. Not sure on his accuracy, but I will check later.
Knocked Up - $10
Rain Man - $4.50
among many other popular titles.
So then right next to the ELECTRONICS, right beside the door is the dollar items... We go there and find OVERSTOCKED Christmas items:
Toddler/Adult bogons (hats, whatever you wanna call em) - $1
Toddler/Adult gloves/mittens - $1
Large Christmas bags - $1
Medium-Size Christmas bags - $1
Small stuffed animals; characters (frog, bear, elephant, etc) - $1
Christmas stickers -$1
Princess pencils with erasers - 4 or 5 pack? - $1
Of course, not all items are just $1. Some are a little over $1 range and then, we seen some ABC blocks we will plan on going back for on Monday (hopefully they won't be all gone by then. - $2.50
I went near the grocery aisles and found 2 for $5 cereal sales, along with a lot of fresh, yummy foods.
In the Target ad, there have been some sales or mentioning the past few weeks which I found to be steady ;
Luv box of diapers - $15 range
Games such as Jenga - $3 range
Infant socks - $1
Those are just SOME sales! I thought I'd mention these $-A-L-E 's, since we're all struggling at these times and I can see many of us probably living on a budget.
Hopefully my shopping trip tonight helps someone!
Have fun Christmas/holiday shopping and getting the items you need. I will post more articles up about more SALES I see in other stores.
Thanks for viewing!
PS. Target may be open later for Holiday shopping starting next week! I told them that normally we didn't shop there and too bad, they weren't open later, for example; 24-hours and the lady said starting next week, Target is going to push for 11p.m. opening for holiday shopping. COOL!
