When I walked into the tunnel

The light was very dreary and dim

I had never been there before

I had covered up my sin

I didn't go seeking redemption

But somehow I found it there

I found friendship and love

Also all the reasons I should care

I met a girl who needed help

She was a wayward sinner too

We got together and talked awhile

only spoke of what was true

Suddenly we knew each other well

Conversed seriously throughout the night

Hand in hand, needed support had grown

Joyously we turned around,

Began walking towards the light

You did it Elsie. When I read this week's prompt my first thought was, how was Elsie going to handle it? You managed to nail the prompt and the image - the only one who has, from what I can see.
