A compilation of what Judas Lieberman said this summer about the democrats and Obama.

Joe Lieberman is the only moderate democrat in the Senate. The rest are so far to the left that they are in a different hemisphere. Apparently you would prefer the Socialist States Of America, and any dissent leads to loss of chairmanships, blacklisting, and downright threats and Thugery

What do you use to measure degrees of leftness? Is there a similar measureing instrument for degrees of rightness? How does one identify the middle? Or is there no middle at all?

Or perhaps the use of "left" and "liberal", and "socialist" is just a rhetorical device.

Also, could you compare the techniques you expect of the Democrats to those used by the Republicans in the last 30 years? I would enjoy reading your conclusions.

Judas Lieberman votes with democrats all the time except when it comes to the war. I have no problem with his voting record. I have problems with him going on the trail trashing Harry Reid, Obama, and other democrats.

Chuck Hagel is for Obama. He was not on the trail trashing his fellow republicans.

Take away the chairmanship. He is not a leader in this party.

Hey you people that think Lieberman is so great can have him I will gladly give him to anyone who wants him and even throw in a dozen bagels.

Lieberman is the ultimate political whore. He will do whatever he thinks will win him the support of the winners. He just backed the wrong horse in the last race. He is not a centrist, he is just a whore. McCain (excepting this last presidential campaign) has been a centrist for most of his career. Lieberman on the other hand has gone whichever way the prevailing political wind has blown. I would say that Lieberman's suport probably cost McCain votes.
