people around here forget how to winter drive too.....I was a driver for 15 years and I "know" that there is a safe way to drive.even if it's just wet and rainy..........
Pa. has some terrible roads though, so I have heard...........
I have some very very old cookbooks from my g-ma............
and then there's the old what if i do this type recipes.......I have a great big card file of special stuff......but most of my cooking is done with add some of this and that.......
I made some of those pumpkin rolls you had a recipe for, they were great, in fact I made so many that I put some up in the freezer for Thanksgiving........I used almost all of the pumpkin I grew this year,,,,that's a first..............
I try to grow as much as possible.........store bought and canned just doesn't taste the same.......
and i know some peple who have had cancer and done some of these study groups,,,,,all of the questions the researcher's seem to ask is about foods and eating habits....way before they ask about smoking and working conditions......
I used to do the Iowa deposit thing, but they passed a law there that could put people like me in jail if they can prove I bought them somewhere besides Iowa........

I ain't a real big fan of my home state.........
I have 2 plum trees........and between all of the neighbors we have just about every kind of fruit you need from our climate zones.......
