If so, I have some questions for you. I did one in our town a couple of years ago and enjoyed myself. I didn't do it last year because I had to have some unexpected surgery. I am planning on doing it this year as well and I am hard at work on my items.
So, my questions are:
1)what types of things do you make?
2)How much do you typically pay for your table?
3) Do you usually make a great profit?
Feel free to post any other advice you have!!

I would sell jewelry and other crafts, some years I made a lot and other years I made almost nothing.
One really bad show that happened to be the same day as a U of M home game and the first snow fall of the year, it was so slow that I left my booth and just started Christmas shopping. Well, Christmas trading I guess, I would trade jewelry for crafts. It became a trend and by the end of the show we'd all had a good time even if no one else showed up :-)

The items/crafting products I make are varied. I participated in one fair a few years ago and didn't do well ~ as was the case with a vast majority of the other crafters. We were inside a school gymnasium, cramped to say the least. But the worst thing was the date. A fair is held just a few miles from our site that is a juried, annual event that's been held for about 25 years. We didn't stand a chance.
2)How much do you typically pay for your table? The fair I attended had a $25 table fee. Optional equipment was extra ~ electrical source, chair, stuff like that.
3) Do you usually make a great profit? I did not. I covered my costs.
Good luck, Sarah! (Glad to know you're back up an feeling beter.)
