The Christmas Bazaar was beautiful and very professionally run. Tables were laden high with goods--gorgeous jewelry, pottery, fabrics, quilts, toys, paintings, crib scenes, decorations for the tree, and candies, cakes and chocolate alongside the entrance to the cafe...
Somewhere in the middle was a tiny stand of red and green books hot off the Lulu press. I guess the fact that I got them there late didn't help, and the fact that the table was shared with so many other more wonderful things. Anyway, not too many sales this weekend, but I'll hope for better luck next time when I set up my own table, and spend my whole Saturday glued to the stand (with signing pen in hand).
Still, I sold some books! Wow!
And if you should happen to visit www.lulu.com/sdeeth you'll be able to see the previews. I'd really appreciate any ratings or reviews you feel moved to leave... and please send me a gather mail if you're interested in buying a signed copy from me.
