How does Rep. Pelosi define “middle?” When Republicans and Fox News use that term, they mean governing from the right, for the benefit of the plutocracy over ordinary Americans.
I wish Nancy Pelosi would go on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC television show and Air America radio shows to witness how a real liberal Democrat intelligently dissects the right-wing ideology that has poisoned America, and discuss solutions to major issues that help ordinary Americans.
If Ms. Pelosi says Ms. Maddow's views represent the “middle” than I'd be satisfied with her remark, but if she thinks President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney represent “middle,” what election was she watching?
The New York Times voting shift interactive map and various polls on issues like health care, abortion and taxes show this nation is moving left of center, not toward the right.
What Democrats should be doing is facilitating serious discussion about solving major problems of today. They should include all views, but they must accept the fact that the right wing has been discredited.

She needs to define what she personally means by "middle"......
By 1950s standards, Obama is a centrist. Times change.
I'd like to live in France too, but don't tell anyone or they might take away your freedom fries.
Actually, he was formally admonished by the senate for his "poor judgement," which seems to be a reoccuring statement about his throughout his adult life. Later, he proved that he'd learned nothing, as he continued to wallow in the filth of seedy corporate lobbyists, including hiring the key lobbyists for Freddie Mac to run his campaign, no less. Up until just a couple months ago, Rick Davis was receiving $15,000 per month from that company, and had pulled down a cool $2 million as their lobbyists overall. Funny you didn't mention that, hmmmm?
"Pelosi is very far left. "
Oh, well, then that explains why she refuses to even discuss impeachment. Obviously, she's too far left to consider impeaching a criminally corrupt republican president.
McCain was let off because of who his father was not because he was innocent. America has never had a justice system built on innocence or guilt and probably never will. Money talks or your guilty.
Could be, but I'd put her more like Hannable Lector...
