Ok - so two weeks ago, a friend lent me Twilight since I was curious as to what all the hype was about. OMG...I read it in two days. Since then, I've read New Moon and am almost done with Eclipse.
Don't worry. You're not the only one. My mother bought the books to read on the recommendation of my daughter who heard from a friend that they were good. She read them all in less than 2 weeks and then mailed them to us. Both my daughter and I are reading them now. She is somewhere close to the middle of Eclipse and I am just starting Breaking Dawn. I absolutely love these books! Then again I've always been a sucker for a good vampire story. And I can't wait for the movie because I want to see Robert Pattinson as someone other then the slightly goofy Cederic Diggory in Harry Potter. I gotta say is new look is much more attractive. Yep.....I'm 34 years old! Who says you can't still check out the hot guys! Besides..........he's legal. LOL I hope you enjoy the rest of the books as much as my mom, my daughter and I have!!
I just bought the last book today during lunch and I cannot wait to delve into it. I realize it's supposed to be for "young adults" but guess what - I don't care. I'm 32 and totally into it.
They are very good. I think Breaking Dawn the last one you should use caution before letting your young daughters read it. I think they are very good. Her writing is simple and not necessarily fantastic but it is the lushness of the romanticism that hooks you in.
one of my best friends is addicted to twilight and won't leave me alone about it! i might have to pick it up! i will definitely check out the movie though! it should be coming out soon!
I highly recommend it! My 8 year old is reading Twilight but I already told her that she will have to wait on the others. She doesn't seem that into it - just reading it to get her 20 minutes in per night which is part of her homework. I'm sure by Christmas, she'll have some more American Girl books to add to her collection to keep her occupied. LOL! She asked to read it because it was in her teeny bopper magazine. (She loves the Jo Bros, too)

I read twilight just to see what all the hype was about and LOVED it!! I read New Moon, and Eclipse within a week and am about 2/3 done with Breaking Dawn. I'm not a vampire person, so I wasn't sure how I would like it. I can't wait for the movie!
I am 34 and I love the entire Twilight series! I had heard so much about them that I thought I would give them a try. I was instantly hooked from the first page. I can not wait for Midnight Sun to be released.
I too am in my 30s and am addicted to the series! I have only read the first 2, but have Eclipse for the next time I don't have to do anything for 24 hours (yes, I cannot control myself and I read from cover to cover basically in one sitting!)
