that's really something and he sure has a great attitude, teaches us all something. On my own note, better today after my son came over and all that was wrong on the van is that every nut on that front tire was loose...go figure, but I am sure thankful!

For some reason I couldn't get my computer to play the entire video. It sure looks inspirational.

I feel absolutely blessed today, plenty of food, enough money to pay our bills, healthy family and a warm home. My world is filled with friends, animals and lots of love,

Yes, Marianne, I have seen her featured on some programme or other. I always find it amazing that people with these terrible disabilities do more than I do! I wouldn't think of surfing anymore!
Special Olympics too, I could never think of trying to run a Marathon!

Well, thanks, Georgiana, for completely quashing my ability to complain about just about anything! I must say, I admire people like this for their ability to transcend their physical disabilities. It leaves me wondering if I could be as positive and inspiring under those circumstances.

I don't think I could. When my hips were really bad, painful, before surgeries fixed that, I didn't want to drink water as I would then have to get up and walk to the bathroom!
